Andragogy
- Adult learning occurs when learners draw on their own experiences and provide new learning opportunities based on what they already know (Cox, 2015).
Transformative
- Learning requires the learner to first identify their own assumptions about the topic at hand. It includes incorporating difficult situations resulting in the use of critical thinking skills to discover a solution (Calleja, 2014).
Experiential
- Learning from experience and reflection resulting in new learning (Richards and Marshall, 2019)
